Regulus Technology built a quant system in 2023 and ran it for about two years. We now use that experience to build Asterism, a set of Studio products for different kinds of work.
Our names come from the stars.
An asterism is any pattern of stars people connect, whatever constellation the stars belong to. The Sickle of Leo and the Spring Triangle are two examples, and Regulus is part of both. The company takes its name from that star; the product takes its name from the lines between stars.
The Spring Triangle joins Arcturus, Spica, and Regulus. Some observers use Denebola in place of Regulus.
Asterism
Merlu's quant system worked on market data, but the method we built into it came from an entirely different field, not finance. That experience got us thinking about a tool that connects methods across fields.
Asterism is a set of Studio products, each built for a different kind of work. Enterprise solutions are in preparation.
